Istanbul Chamber of Industry-ISO
Established in 1952, Istanbul Chamber of Industry (ISO) currently is the biggest Chamber of Industry in Turkey with its over 17 thousand members, and the strongest representative of Turkish Industry. Added value by ISO members to the Turkish Industry is 36% of the total added value of Turkish Industry. 34% of Turkey’s Industrial productions are done by ISO members, and the employment by these members is over 15% of the total industrial employment. In order to increase the competitive power nationally and internationally ISO organizes conferences and trainings, develop industry-academia collaborations, implements environment and energy projects, research and publication and European Union Business Network Project and distributes innovation prizes.
In addition ISO also offers services for preparing documents required by the legislation such as capacity and expert reports investment and incentives, production and circulation, EU technical legislation adaptation. ISO, is one of the founding members of ISEK and in addition to corporate support, with their related work group Health Trade Committee, they support ISEK development process.
